Add & Update Ownership

When there are changes to ownership, you can update existing records if that is more accurate than creating a new ownership record.

Editor users may create new or edit existing ownership (parent / subsidiary) records related to an entity by doing the following: Go to "Entities" and click on the entity's "Legal Name" link to view the desired entity record. Click “Add” on the "Ownership" tab below the entity summary information, or click on an existing parent or subsidiary name. Click "Submit" to create or edit the ownership record.
